The Courthouse of Crawford County, Ohio, is a landmark of the county seat, Bucyrus, Ohio. The courthouse was built in 1854 on East Mansfield Street by architect Harlan Jones and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 1985-02-28 as a part of the Bucyrus Commercial Historic District .
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 403 square miles (1,040 km 2), of which 402 square miles (1,040 km 2) is land and 0.9 square miles (2.3 km 2) (0.2%) is water. [5] It is the fourth-smallest county in Ohio by total area. The county is drained by the Sandusky and Olentangy Rivers.
Located in the southwestern part of the county, it borders the following townships: Holmes Township - north; Liberty Township - northeast corner; Whetstone Township - east; Dallas Township - southwest; Tod Township - northwest; Most of the city of Bucyrus, the county seat of Crawford County, is located in northeastern Bucyrus Township.
