English: The Macedonian Orthodox church of Saint John at Kaneo, located on the cliff over the Kaneo Beach at the Ohrid Lake nearby the city of Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia, is a pilgrimage iman in the country. The age of the cruciform-shaped temple is uncertain but it was probably erected in the middle of the 14th century.
The Church of St. John at Kaneo is a Macedonian Orthodox church situated on the cliff overlooking Kaneo Beach, on Lake Ohrid in the city of Ohrid, Macedonia. It is unknown when the church was constructed, but documents detailing the church property suggest that it was built before 1447.
Church members named it John Knox Road, after the founder of the Presbyterian Church in Scotland. In 1964, it was extended down the hill to the area near today's Trousdell Aquatics complex.
