Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (Nepali: कर्णाली स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान) is an autonomous medical institution of Government of Nepal established by an Act of parliament of Nepal on 20 October 2011.
Nepal has mixed healthcare system with both public sector hospitals and private sector hospitals. Medical colleges have their own teaching hospitals which provide healthcare at subsidized costs. There are altogether 19 medical colleges in Nepal. [1]
The Ministry of Health and Population runs and oversees all public hospitals in Nepal. These include four regional hospitals, [ 2 ] 11 zonal hospitals, [ 3 ] five teaching hospitals , [ 4 ] as well as district hospitals and general hospitals.

B & B Hospital (Baidya and Banskota Hospital) is a private hospital located in Nepal was founded in 1997. [1] [2] [3]It was established by Dr. Jagdish Lal Baidya and Dr. Ashok K. Banskota.
The hospital has 415 beds, of which 336 are allocated to inpatient care; 241 beds are dedicated for obstetrics, 61 for gynaecology and 34 for neonatology, while 79 are service beds. [citation needed] The hospital employs approximately 50 doctors, 170 nurses, 40 paramedical staff, and 360 administrative, support and other staff.
