There is a sweet discount as well so that’s really cool. You also get (almost) every GWP. The only problem is the hiring process. Even if you apply, it’s very likely you may not hear from them, as they leave applications open but they may not be hiring. I applied and was called 5 months later for an interview.

  4. Those of you who work at a Lego retail store, what’s it like?

    www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/17s679t/those_of_you_who...

The company demands a lot of high sales energy from everyone. You have to be on point, professional, and giving 110% constantly. They take protecting the brand image and integrity very seriously and the demands are higher than a typical retail job because of that. It’s more like working high end retail.

  5. Is it really worth buying at LEGO Stores? [A mini review and ......

For an official LEGO store, where their only focus is LEGO, I don't think their prices are fair and competitive. Unless it's because their stores are placed at high class neighborhoods, I found most sets expansive in about 25%-30% compared with online retail stores. The most notable is 60291, where I found them selling at R$599,99 at their ...

the pay is pretty terrible. most stores pay less than $1 over minimum wage to the lowest associates, usually around $2 more for supervisors, and then the managers are typical retail store manager salaries. that said, LEGO does give pretty generous year end bonuses to all employees (around 10% of what you made that year for retail employees). a ...

But watch the big chain stores for sales if you want new sets. Used, just watch your local buying/selling sites. Check r/legodeal for deals on new sets. Personally, if you're patient, you can get great deals on used Lego on craigslist, FBM, etc. The market value of my collection FAR exceeds the price I paid.

  8. How to Spot Lego Scams : r/lego - Reddit

1: check to make sure LEGO has actually produced that specific character by checking bricklink/brickset etc. Just by quickly browsing, I spotted no less than fifteen characters/outfits that have never been produced by LEGO. 2: Most 'Minifigure lots' that have a picture with a white background are scams.

  9. Which is better: Bricklink or Pick a brick on LEGO.com

    www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/g4d6fk/which_is_better...

Bricklink will most likely be much faster than directly from lego. If you are getting only simple pieces in a small quantity there is a good chance you would could find all the pieces you need from one seller. I would go with brick link because it is usually faster and cheaper than directly from lego. 1. Award.

  10. Does the Insiders early access apply in stores or only online?

Online or in-store. You can get it both in-store and online. Might be worth calling your local store to see how many they have in, and when they expect it to sell out. Not all stores will tell you, but it seems most will, and it's worth knowing to ensure you don't waste a trip. Good luck!

San Francisco, California, USA. Lego Store Closes in the San Francisco Center. Looks like there was no notice given, or closing sale. It just shut on Thursday. Note on the door says it’s permanent. Staff had verbally confirmed the store would stay open after Westfield abandoned the mall.
