Kazuma Satou (Japanese: 佐藤 和真, Hepburn: Satō Kazuma, also spelt Kazuma Sato) is the main protagonist of the light novel, manga and anime series KonoSuba, created by Natsume Akatsuki. He is voiced by Jun Fukushima [ 1 ] [ 2 ] in Japan and by Arnie Pantoja in English-speaking regions. [ 3 ]

An anime film adaptation produced by J.C.Staff, titled KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson, premiered on August 30, 2019. An anime television series adaptation of An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, produced by Drive, aired from April to June 2023. A third season, also by Drive, aired from April to June 2024.
The series follows the adventures of Kazuma Satou who, after he dies of a heart attack after pushing a girl out of the way of a truck, which turned out to be a tractor, is sent to an RPG-like world, going on various adventures alongside a goddess named Aqua, a magician named Megumin, and a dame named Darkness.
After Wiz teaches Kazuma the Drain Touch skill, the party takes on a request to exorcise evil spirits from a mansion where they can stay during the winter. That night, Kazuma and Megumin find themselves on the run from an army of possessed dolls while also desperately needing the bathroom. Aqua saves the day again with her Turn Undead spells.
Later, Kazuma's party visits the home of the Tennessee family, a rival of the Dustinesses and led by a woman named Carleen. Suspicious about the monsters surrounding the estate, Kazuma, Chris, and Megumin infiltrate and confront Carleen, hoping to steal her divine weapon used to summon said monsters.
Kazuma approaches them, to help sort out the quarrel. Turns out Ran isn't actually Kazuma's fan. Ran was put on a quest to motivate Kazuma and his party to do more quests. After hearing this, Kazuma gets angry and walks closer to Ran and Luna. Ran and Luna realize that Kazuma is coming closer and get scared; they start praising Kazuma at a minimum.
Afterward, Kazuma's party visits Megumin's house and meets her family, who become interested in Kazuma for his fortune. The following day, Megumin shows Kazuma and Aqua around the village, visiting her school and the storage building that holds the Mage Killer, a weapon capable of destroying the world.
