Wichita Falls is the home of the annual Hotter'N Hell Hundred, the largest single-day century bicycle ride in the United States and one of the largest races in the world. The race started as a way for the city to celebrate its centennial in 1982.
Gregory Lawson Craddock (born February 20, 1992) is an American former road and track racing cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2011 to 2024. He is known for his achievement in finishing the 2018 Tour de France despite being seriously injured in the opening stage, and for raising funds for a hurricane-damaged velodrome as a result.
