In Transformers: Decepticons, Starscream initially serves as leader of the Decepticon forces on Earth and Create-A-Bot's mentor but secretly plots to seize the AllSpark for himself. After killing Bumblebee, Starscream takes the AllSpark, kills Megatron loyalist Blackout and Barricade, and battles Megatron and his disillusioned apprentice.

Decepticon Sky-Byte and Autobot Jetfire arrive on Earth, both intent on destroying their enemy. The two return to their respective factions where they explain to their comrades the story of their feud: after Sky-Byte triggered a destructive supernova, Jetfire pursued him through space, the two destroying countless star systems in their brawls.

Blitzwing (voiced by David Sobolov) is a Decepticon Seeker who transforms into a red and white McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. He appears in Bumblebee where he ambushes Bumblebee while he was fleeing from Sector 7 and damages his voice box and his memory core. Blitzwing is later killed by Bumblebee.
