Download Festival is a rock festival created by Andy Copping, held annually at the Donington Park motorsport circuit in Leicestershire, England (since 2003); in Paris, France (since 2016); at Parramatta Park, Sydney (since 2019); Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne (since 2018) and at the Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg, Germany (since 2022).
The Pitchfork Music Festival Paris 2016 was held from 27 to 29 October 2016 at the Grande halle de la Villette, Paris, France. It was broadcast live on the official website of The Line of Best Fit. [1] The festival was preceded by block party Avant-Garde, held in seven venues around Paris on 25 and 26 October. [2]
This leg of the tour also included Muse's debut performance at Download Festival, which they also headlined. The second leg of the European Festivals tour began on 24 June 2016 at Glastonbury. The new stage set up featured 11 LED pillars which could be manually pushed back and forth by members of the crew to accommodate the show.
