Thomas also ignores his job and his friends' warnings to slow down, which leads to him hitting a telephone pole and derailing. After Harvey rescues him, Thomas gives up chasing the end of the rainbow, and finishes his job. When Thomas arrives back at Tidmouth Sheds, he finds that his friends are at the end of the rainbow.
