Fenerbahçe Basketball, commonly referred as Fenerbahçe (Turkish pronunciation: [feˈnæɾbahtʃe]) or Fenerbahce Istanbul in European matches, currently also known as Fenerbahçe Beko for sponsorship reasons, are a professional basketball team and the men's basketball department of Fenerbahçe S.K., a major Turkish multi-sport club based in Istanbul, Turkey.
The men's basketball team is one of the most successful in Turkey and also has one of the highest rankings in Europe, being the first team in Turkish basketball history to have won the EuroLeague and a match against an NBA team. They became European champions in the 2016–17 season and runners-up in 2015–16 and 2017–18. [15]

The men's basketball department of Fenerbahçe were founded in 1913 and achieved considerable success when the sport established itself in Turkey. Fenerbahçe won national championship titles in 1957, 1959 and 1965, just before the Turkish League was founded in 1966, and participated in the European Champions Cup in 1960 and 1966 .

Fenerbahçe Women's Basketball team has scored a perfect season in 2023–24 Women's Basketball Super League by winning all 35 season games. [4] The team also won all the championships that they compete in 23-24 season; Turkish Women's Basketball Cup , FIBA Europe SuperCup Women and EuroLeague Women .
