Cathedral Caverns State Park is a 493-acre (200 ha) public recreation area and natural history preserve in Kennamer Cove, Alabama, located approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) northeast of Grant and 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Woodville in Marshall County. The park, first known as Bats Cave, was developed as a tourist attraction in the 1950s.
The park offers guests four cabins, 36 improved campsites as well as primitive and back-country campsites with shelters. Take advantage of guided cave tours and the nearby 5.5 miles of hiking trails.

Access to Cathedral Caverns is provided by a paved and lighted pathway. Its massive entrance is 128 feet across and 25 feet high, making it the largest commercial cave opening in the world. The trek from the mouth of the cave to its farthest reaches is a little more than a mile along the sloping and twisting walkway.
