The Weapon X program was responsible for Wolverine's adamantium skeleton and fabricated memories. The program was directed by the Professor and Dr. Cornelius. Weapon X captured the four members of Team X (Logan, Victor Creed, Maverick, and Silver Fox) to brainwash them to become an elite team of mind-controlled assassins.
