After serving in the military during World War II, he became an assistant coach at Ohio in 1946. He coached multiple sports for many years, ultimately retiring in 1988. Blosser was inducted to the NCAA Golf Coaches Hall of Fame in 1980 and the MAC Hall of Fame in 1988. He died in 2006, aged 95.
