USA Health Providence Hospital (also known as Providence Hospital, formerly Ascension Providence) is a 349-bed high-rise hospital in the U.S. city of Mobile, Alabama. The hospital tower was completed in 1987. The building sits at the center of a 277-acre (112 ha) campus, it rises approximately 170 feet (52 m) and 11 stories.
Ascension is a large private Catholic healthcare system in the United States. Ascension had 142,000 employees, 142 hospitals, and 40 senior living facilities operating in 19 states and the District of Columbia as of the end of 2021. [1] Ascension is one of the largest nonprofit and one of the largest Catholic health systems in the United States.
In 2018 the system was renamed Ascension Michigan as it had been acquired by Ascension Health. Accordingly, the names of the hospitals, including the Novi one, changed. [7] In 2023 Ascension negotiated an agreement with Henry Ford Health System which lead to this hospital becoming Henry Ford Providence Hospital Novi in 2024.

Ascension Michigan (formerly St. John Providence Health System) is a not-for-profit Catholic health system in the U.S. state of Michigan. A division of Ascension Health , it currently operates four hospitals in Southwestern Michigan, having previously operated in mid-Michigan and Metro Detroit . [ 1 ]
Previously, Providence delivered between 1,500 and 2,000 babies a year. [3] In September 2018, Ascension announced that it would close the main hospital by the end of the year but continue operating its medical office buildings and Carroll Manor.
