Farm to Market Road 941 (FM 941) is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) route in Nacogdoches County. It runs from US 59 through Appleby, briefly overlapping FM 2609, before state maintenance ends near the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. FM 1639 was designated on May 23, 1951, "officially" running from Texas State Highway 135 (but actually from Farm to Market Road 850) [nb 6] in Overton north to SH 31. On December 20, 1963, FM 1639 was extended about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east-northeast over the former routing of SH 31 to the current SH 31 route.
