DVB-T was introduced in Republic of North Macedonia in November, 2009 as a Pay TV platform known as BoomTV by ONE. The platform includes national channels with national frequency and the most popular world channels. Boom TV is using 3 multiplexes (MUX 1, MUX 2 and MUX 3). The DVB-T switch off in the country was completed on 1 June 2013.
Makedonia TV (Greek: Μακεδονία TV) is a Greek private national free-to-air television channel broadcasting from Marousi, Athens and earlier from Thessaloniki, the capital of Macedonia in Greece. It was founded in 1991 by a group of journalists from the newspaper of the same name.
In 2019, MRT3 was a test channel and broadcast with the Blizoo television service provider. In May 2020, the Macedonian Radio Television launched 3 more channels, including MRT3 (sports channel), MRT4 (international channel) and MRT5 (kids channel).

It was founded in 1993 by the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. Its legally defined service is the production and broadcasting of radio and television programmes of all genres, which should satisfy the public information, cultural, educational and recreational needs of the people of North Macedonia. MRT is directed by Marijan Cvetkovski. [1]
