The Universidad de Oriente was founded on 21 November 1958 by Decree Law No. 459 published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Venezuela No. 25,831 by the Governing Board chaired by Dr. Edgar Sanabria, as Minister of Education on Dr. Rafael Pizani, under the leadership of its founder Rector Dr. Luis Manuel Peñalver.
Alfonso La Cruz was born in the capital city of Caracas on 11 November 1995. His family later moved to La Guaira. At a young age, he would sing in his school's choir and would participate in festivals. At age 15, he was the opening act for R.K.M. & Ken-Y and Reykon for their tour stop in Venezuela. [1] In 2015, he moved to Madrid, Spain. [2]

Televisora de Oriente, or TVO, is a Venezuelan private television channel founded in 1992.The station are located in Puerto La Cruz and the signal can be seen in the Venezuelan states of Anzoátegui (channels 5 and 13), Monagas (channel 32), Nueva Esparta (channel 8), and Sucre (channel 8).
