    Since the car has been in from last week, I've not been contacted once by Ford Customer Relations to ask or provide any updates. Great customer service once again from Ford. I'm told the dealer is 'the face of Ford' My experience is that Ford the dealers contradict themselves on battery and smart charge matters, and one is left chatting amicably with Ford customer relations on non technical matters.

    Nearly got a B-Double up my exhaust pipe when it did it on the Hume Highway once. Told Ford about it but they refused to respond. the Canberra dealer just kept repeating its monotonous mantra 'no fault found'. Too easy to dismiss customer concerns when you don't want to admit the fault or deal with it in any way.

    As an aside, Dominelli quoted me $21,500 for my CL Fiesta driveaway, the most expensive quote from any dealership by over $2K. Most of their business is fleet. With the death of the Falcon their days are numbered. Essentially, Ford dealerships are dying because of their product and of their service.
