The Journal of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing is a bimonthly peer-reviewed medical journal covering psychiatric and mental health nursing. It was established in 1994 and is published by John Wiley & Sons. The editor-in-chief is Lawrie Elliott (Glasgow Caledonian University).
It includes sections on psychopharmacology, mental health care of older adults, addictive behaviors and diagnoses, and child/adolescent disorders and issues. The journal started life in 1980 as the Journal of the Australian Congress of Mental Health Nurses, and was rebadged as the Australian Journal of Mental Health Nursing in 1990.
