One is a spring-fed tributary of the Little Wood River in Blaine County, north of Picabo, and the other is a tributary of the Middle Fork of the Payette River in Boise County, near Crouch.

Silver Creek Hot Spring is a geothermal mineral spring in Valley County, Idaho. [3] It is located 23 miles North of the town of Crouch. [4] The hot spring is also known as the Silver Creek Plunge. [5] The spring flows into Silver Creek, and on to Middle Fork, a tributary of the Payette River.
Silver Creek heads on the north slope of Bald Eagle Mountain in the Deer Valley Ski Resort. From there it flows north through Deer Valley Meadow [6] then northwest through Park City, Utah. From Park City north through the Snyderville Basin [7] there is a low topographic divide with McLeod Creek to the west and Silver Creek to the east. [5]
The creek currently drains an area of over 43 square miles (110 km 2) with its source in the Edenvalle Hills of southeast San Jose, California. [6] Upper Silver Creek and Thompson Creek both begin in the Edenvale Hills, and historically sank into the alluvial basin of Evergreen Valley in southeast San Jose.

The highway crosses the Willow Creek Summit at 7,161 feet (2,183 m) and later descends into Grand View Canyon and heads into the city of Challis. US-93 creates the northern terminus of State Highway 75 just south of Challis and takes over as the northern leg of the Salmon River Scenic Byway . [ 2 ]
