TVRI Sport (also referred to as Kanal 4 TVRI Olahraga) is an Indonesian terrestrial television channel owned by public broadcaster TVRI, specialised in sports programming. Serving as complementary to TVRI main channel, the channel is available only in digital terrestrial , satellite , and TVRI Klik streaming service.
Since the establishment of TVRI, Indonesians could only watch one television channel. In 1989, the government allowed RCTI to broadcast as the first private television network in Indonesia, although only people who had a decoder could watch; it was opened to the public on 24 August 1990. [1]
TVRI is currently available on terrestrial, satellite, and most of pay television providers throughout the country, as well as on TVRI Klik streaming service. Prior to digital switchover in 2022 , the channel is networked with regional TVRI stations on analog broadcasts (except Special Capital Region of Jakarta and its surroundings ).
TVRI currently maintain two online services. TVRI Klik, launched in 2018, is the primarily online streaming service for all TVRI channels, as well as its regional stations. [32] [33] TVRI VoD is the network's video-on-demand service. Both services could be accessed from their dedicated Android and iOS apps as well as their website.

TVRI World started a trial broadcast in June 2021 on TVRI Kanal 3, and was planned to start broadcasting 24 hours on 17 August 2021. [15] Its on-screen graphic also began replaced into TVRI World logo.
