Kentucky Christian University (KCU) is a private Christian university in Grayson, Kentucky. It was founded on December 1, 1919, as Christian Normal Institute, by J. W. Lusby and J. O. Snodgrass. As a "normal school" its programs included a high school, a junior college, and a training program for public school teachers.
Kentucky also has two early entrance to college programs, for academically gifted high school juniors and seniors, that allows the students to take college credits while finishing high school. They are the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics , and the Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science .

Southeastern Christian College provided a two-year liberal arts degree and a three-year degree [1] in biblical studies in Winchester, Kentucky from 1957 to 1979. [2] Following its closure, the college formed a non-profit in 1983, the Southeastern Christian Education Corporation, to provide scholarships to students from a list of Churches of Christ congregations.
The KCU Knights football program represents Kentucky Christian University in college football. They are football-only members of Mid-South Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
