Yoruichi Shihōin is a woman who has an ability where she can transform into a black cat for long periods of time. She is intelligent and witty, and is intimately knowledgeable of Soul Society and its workings, as she was the former leader of the Stealth Forces and the 2nd division captain.
Yoruichi Shihōin (四楓院 夜一, Shihōin Yoruichi) is an old friend of Urahara Shop owner Kisuke Urahara, and so uses it as a place of residence when she is not abroad. [17] She is a slim, dark-skinned woman with deep-violet hair.
Though Ichigo arrives to face Byakuya, Yoruichi knocks Ichigo out and spirits him away. Upon learning the name, the sword transforms into its more powerful shikai form as Ichigo unleashes an energy blast which knocks off Urahara's hat, completing the third stage in his training. Orihime and Chad, meanwhile, finish their training with Yoruichi.
Uryū confronts the mysterious scientist while Ichigo, Rukia, and Yoruichi plan their escape from the Soul Society, assuming that several reigai have blocked the Senkaimon, the gateway to the Dangai. Uryū is defeated by the scientist's shikai of his zanpakutō, Raikū. Yoruichi fights the reigai to let Ichigo and Rukia escape.
