Rogers is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. Located in the Ozarks, it is part of the Northwest Arkansas region, one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. Mercy Hospital was founded in the 1920s. The original Mercy Hospital was on Annunciation Street in the Lower Garden District neighborhood; the current building in Mid-City was constructed in 1959. [1] In the 1990s, Mercy Hospital merged with Southern Baptist Hospital, and the two hospitals operated together as Mercy-Baptist Medical Center.
The idea to merge Mercy Hospital and St. Luke's was introduced in 1973 and initially rejected. Another new Mercy Hospital was constructed 1978, with the construction of medical office buildings following just two years later in 1980. In order to fit the needs of a growing patient population, Mercy Hospital announced plans to expand again in 1987.

Atrium Health Mercy (formerly Mercy Hospital, later Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy) is a 185-bed adult health tertiary acute care facility located in the Elizabeth neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. The hospital was established in 1906 by the Sisters of Mercy, and is the first Catholic hospital ever built in North Carolina.
