The center was founded in 2012 by two painters: Innocent Nkurunziza and Emmanuel Nkuranga. The two painters and siblings started Inema Arts Center with the goal of showcasing Rwanda's latent artistic skills, using creative expression to bring the community and country to life, and providing a platform for Rwandan artists. The Rwanda Art Museum (formerly the Presidential Palace Museum) is an art museum in Kigali that was founded in 2009. Until 1994, the building was the residence of Juvénal Habyarimana, the former president of Rwanda. The museum is located four kilometers east of Kigali Airport within the Nyarugunga sector of the Kicukiro district.

Mani Martin is a Rwandan singer, songwriter, actor and performing artist. He has won numerous awards. His unique musical sound that reflects the Afro-fusion, urban and traditional sounds has received National & international attention hence being described by "Rwanda Spectrum Magazine" as one of the best live music performing artists of the Rwandan music scene.
In March 2013 she won her second Salax Award, this time in the category of "Best Female Artist". [5] In 2013, Knowless was one of three Rwandan acts to perform at the "Rwanda Day" event held in London. [9] In 2015, Knowless Butera won the Primus Gumma Gumma Superstar 5th Edition, and she is the first woman to win such a competition. [10]
