Southern gospel music is a genre of Christian music.Its name comes from its origins in the southeastern United States.Its lyrics are written to express either personal or a communal faith regarding biblical teachings and Christian life, as well as (in terms of the varying music styles) to give a Christian alternative to mainstream secular music.
Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (formerly known as The Signature Sound Quartet) is an American Southern Gospel quartet founded in 2002 by Ernie Haase, former Cathedral Quartet tenor and Garry Jones, former Gold City pianist.
Shane Dunlap was the original lead singer for Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, a Southern Gospel quartet. Prior to that, he was a founding member of N'Harmony. After leaving Signature Sound, he started a solo career. In 2008, he formed a new group and resumed the N'Harmony name. [1]

KTGS (The Gospel Station Network) (88.3 FM) is a radio station in Ada, Oklahoma; licensed to nearby Tishomingo. The station is currently owned by local pastor Randall Christy and his company, South Central Oklahoma Christian Broadcasting. [2] The flagship of The Gospel Station network, KTGS broadcasts a southern gospel format.
Originating as a southern gospel quartet, the innovative group would become pioneers of contemporary Christian music in the 1960s. There have been many changes for the band in membership and musical styles over the years. They would go on to win four Grammys, 15 Dove Awards, and be inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

The Dixie Melody Boys were an American Southern Gospel quartet from Kinston, North Carolina formed in 1961 and retired in 2023. The group was known for giving many young Southern Gospel and Christian artists their start in the gospel music industry and their innovation in the Christian music field.
