State Center Community College District serves the greater central valley through four community college campuses with about 61,000 enrolled students. The district covers 5,743 square miles of urban and rural territory, including most of Fresno and Madera counties and portions of Kings and Tulare counties.

Clovis Community College is a public community college in northeastern Fresno, California [3] near Clovis. It is in the State Center Community College District (SCCCD) along with Fresno City College and Reedley College (which includes the Madera and Oakhurst Centers). It has a satellite campus on Herndon Avenue in Fresno. [4]
Huntington Lake (formerly, Basin) [2] is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California. [1] It is located on the west end of Huntington Lake 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Big Creek, [2] at an elevation of 7027 feet (2142 m). [1] The Basin post office opened in 1913, the name was changed to Huntington Lake in 1916. [2]
The Institute of Technology was founded in 1986 as the Fresno Institute of Technology at Clovis. [1] Later the name was shortened to the Institute of Technology. The school now operates three California campuses (Clovis, Modesto, Redding) and one in Salem, Oregon. The institute is operated by Modesto-based Select Education Group. [2]
