Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, [1] formerly Oaklawn Park Race Track, is an American thoroughbred racetrack and casino in Hot Springs, Arkansas.It is the home to "The Racing Festival of the South", a four-day series of races that concludes with the Arkansas Derby.
The Memphis-Arkansas Speedway was a dirt oval track located just west of West Memphis, Arkansas, United States, in the community of Lehi. [1]This speedway had a total distance spanning 1.500 miles (2.414 km), and at the time was the longest oval track visited by NASCAR (and the longest dirt oval track to this day). [2]

It is located on Arkansas Highway 135, east of Paragould, with racing occurring (in season and weather permitting) every Sunday. Its facilities include a concrete racing strip 2,960 feet (900 m) long and 31 feet (9.4 m) wide, with bleachers along the sides and a spectator catwalk (an original feature dating to its early years). Curlin was later admitted to thoroughbred racing's National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. The inaugural Arkansas Derby in 1936 offered a total purse of $5,000. The first winner was Holl Image, who was owned and trained by Jack Carter. The race was run in two divisions in 1960, and again in 2020.
