Jackson has also been a member of the Calgary Stampeders , Cleveland Browns , Houston Roughnecks , Winnipeg Blue Bombers , and Seattle Sea Dragons .
The St. Louis Bombers were originally part of the Basketball Association of America (BAA) in 1946. Ken Loeffler , head coach at the University of Denver , was the team's first head coach. He left the team in 1948 due to a disagreement with team president C. D. Hamilton Jr. over a bonus.

Gifford Roux (June 28, 1923 – August 19, 2011) was an American professional basketball player. A 6'5" forward , Roux attended the University of Kansas but did not play basketball. Roux played three seasons in the Basketball Association of America (BAA) as a member of the St. Louis Bombers and Providence Steamrollers .
