Mark Anthony Sheehan (29 October 1976 – 14 April 2023) was an Irish musician. From 1996 to 2001, he was a member of the boy band Mytown. [2] In 2001, he co-founded and played lead guitar for alternative rock band the Script, which he stayed in the band until his death in 2023.

Mytown is an Irish boy band formed in 1996 by Tony Dunne and Paul Walker. Mark Sheehan, Terry Daly and John Duffy were also members when the band first began. [1] They released one album, the epomynous Mytown and had a number of singles before splitting up in 2001, however Browne left before then after a falling-out with Louis Walsh citing irreconcilable differences.

O'Donoghue was originally a member of a late 1990s band called Mytown with friend (and now also band member of the Script) Mark Sheehan, after being signed to Universal Records in 1999. After its moderate success, O'Donoghue moved to Los Angeles with Sheehan to write songs and produce for artists such as Britney Spears, Boyz II Men and TLC. [4]
