Sarkar (transl. Government) is the soundtrack album for the 2018 Indian Tamil-language political action thriller film of the same name.The album composed by A. R. Rahman [1] with lyrics written by Vivek, [2] consists of five songs, two of which were released as singles prior to the audio launch, held on 2 October 2018.

After various complications, including protests and allegations of plagiarism, Sarkar was released on 6 November 2018 on the week of Diwali. The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics.
