RapidRide is a network of limited-stop bus routes with some bus rapid transit features in King County, Washington, operated by King County Metro.The network consists of eight routes totaling 76 miles (122 km) that carried riders on approximately 64,860 trips on an average weekday in 2016, comprising about 17 percent of King County Metro's total daily ridership.
The final routing was approved in 2013 by the Bellevue City Council and Sound Transit, choosing an open-air station that would save $19 to $33 million compared to one inside the tunnel. [13] The station opened on April 27, 2024, as part of the initial segment of the 2 Line between South Bellevue and Redmond Technology stations. [14] [15]

The T Line was extended 2.4 miles (3.9 km) in September 2023 with six new stations and one relocated stop. [10] The first section of the 2 Line opened on April 27, 2024, with eight stations in Bellevue and Redmond.
