The Oshawa Generals are a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League. They are based in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The team is named for General Motors, an early sponsor which has its Canadian headquarters in Oshawa. In November 2016, the General Motors Centre changed its name to Tribute Communities Centre.
This is a List of Oshawa Generals seasons. The Generals celebrated their 70th anniversary during the 2007–08 OHL season. Oshawa has won five Memorial Cups, thirteen J. Ross Robertson Cups, the Hamilton Spectator Trophy three times, and the Leyden Trophy five times.
The arena was constructed to replace the Oshawa Civic Auditorium. The main tenant is the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League, and formerly the Durham TurfDogs of the Canadian Lacrosse League. It features the Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame, Prospects Bar and Grill, an Oshawa Generals retail store, executive seating and special club seats.

The Generals were the top team during the 1986–87 season, as the club had a 49-14-3 record, earning 101 points, and winning the Hamilton Spectator Trophy. The Oshawa Majors began play in 1930, and the team was reborn as the Oshawa Generals in 1937. While playing at the Hambly Arena, the Generals won seven consecutive J. Ross Robertson Cup titles, and three Memorial Cup championships from 1937 to 1944. The Hambly Arena burned to the ground on the morning of September 15, 1953.
