Central Bus Station Sofia (Bulgarian: Централна автогара София, romanized: Tsentralna avtogara Sofiya; abbreviated as CBS) is the main bus station of Sofia, Bulgaria. Its building was opened in 2004 and covers an area of 7,173 square metres (77,210 sq ft), of which the waiting area is 1,500 square metres (16,000 sq ft).
The fare will be the same price as a paper ticket (1.60 lev or ~0.82 euro) and the amount you pay per day will max out at 4 levs (or about 2 euro) which is 3 trips (the first and second trips will cost the full 1.60 levs, 3rd will cost 0.80 levs and every trip after will be de facto free). The 4 levs max resets every day at 12 am local time.

Opened in the 1870s, the station is located on the Lyubimets–Belovo railway, which links Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, with Istanbul, largest city of Turkey. It was built by Turkish architect Mimar Kemaleddin Bey. [2] There are 11 tracks in the station.
It is located next to the World Trade Center - Sofia, near the Russian Embassy. The station serves Iztok and Izgrev residential districts and the Southern Bus Station. It is defined by a central entrance vestibule with underpass links to both sides of the boulevard and the surrounding residential areas.
