The Taoyuan Airport MRT portion of the station consists of island platforms with 4 tracks as it was designed for service by both Commuter and Express trains. [3] The station is 132 metres (433 ft 1 in) long and 32 metres (105 ft 0 in) wide. It opened for trial service on 2 February 2017, and for commercial service 2 March 2017.
