The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Indonesian: Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Infrastruktur dan Pembangunan Kewilayahan) is an Indonesian government ministry in charge of planning and policy co-ordination, as well as synchronization of policies in the field of infrastructure and regional development.

The Maluku Islands (/ m ə ˈ l uː k uː, m æ ˈ l uː k uː / mə-LOO-koo, mal-OO-; Indonesian: Kepulauan Maluku) or the Moluccas (/ m ə ˈ l ʌ k ə z / mə-LUK-əz) are an archipelago in the eastern part of Indonesia. Tectonically they are located on the Halmahera Plate within the Molucca Sea Collision Zone.
Maluku is the largest archipelago in all of Indonesia, although this area is 90% water and only 10% land. Maluku Province and North Maluku Province together compose the Maluku Islands. The large number of islands that are separated by long distances from each other also results in the increasingly diverse languages used in this province.
In two special cases, all subdivisions of North Maluku and Riau Islands were made from parts of the defunct North Maluku Regency and Riau Islands Regency, respectively. All subdivisions of North Kalimantan are also made from lands of Bulungan Regency , but its area was split to several regencies before the province was established.
