Uniontown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 7,173 at the 2020 census. The Industrial Excess Landfill, now a superfund site, is located south of Uniontown. [4] Uniontown is part of the Canton-Massillon, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Union County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 62,784. [2] Its county seat is Marysville. [3] Its name is reflective of its origins, being the union of portions of Franklin, Delaware, Madison, and Logan counties. [4] Union County is part of the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area.
New California was platted in 1853. [5] According to tradition, news of a man passing through the settlement to California caused the name to be selected. [6] The New California Post office was established on January 7, 1850, but was discontinued on May 14, 1904. The mail service is now sent through the Plain City branch.
