Inmates incarcerated at the Orangeburg County jail say they’ve been deprived of showers and visitations for more than a week. They say short-staffing at the jail is the apparent cause.
An investigation found that between March 2 and March 3, Destiny Sierra Hinson, 23, smuggled the drug into the jail, where it was distributed to several inmates, according to an affidavit.
The wanted man is being charged with several new crimes, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
