Five Million Money Drop is a Sri Lankan game show currently airing on Sirasa TV in Sri Lanka. It is based on the US series Million Dollar Money Drop which follows the UK flagship series The Million Pound Drop (now known as The £100K Drop). The show first aired on 13 August 2022 and ended in Feb 5, 2023. [1]

Sirasa TV is a digital, terrestrial television network in Sri Lanka. It is the sister channel of ' TV 1 ' (Previously MTV Channel and MTV Sports) which was established in 1992. Sirasa TV was started in 1998 as a sister to its radio network Sirasa FM .
Its sister channel, MTV, was renamed Sirasa TV in June 1998, and MTV Newsvision was renamed MTV. [1] [2] MTV was later rebranded as Channel One MTV. On 26 January 2012, the channel was relaunched as MTV Sports. [3] [4] MTV Sports was rebranded as MTV in July 2015. [5] [better source needed] The channel was renamed TV 1 on 21 January 2016. [6]
