Mohammad Jahangir Alam (born 28 November 1970) is a Major General of Bangladesh Army. Currently serving as the Director General (DG) of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), the military intelligence unit of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. [1] [2] He took over this position in October 2024.

Rab (then lieutenant Colonel) was the Chief of Staff of the Bangladesh Army under the combined command of Bangladesh Forces which served as the origins of Bangladesh Armed Forces and General M. A. G.
