Todd Townshend (born August 19, 1967 [1]) is the 14th Bishop of The Diocese of Huron in the Anglican Church of Canada. [2] He was Ordained to the diaconate May 14, 1992, ordained to the priesthood on November 30, 1992, and Consecrated a Bishop and Installed as the 14th Bishop of Huron at St. Paul's Cathedral, London, ON on Saturday January 25, 2020.
Until the installment of the new bishop, the diocese was administered by The Most Reverend Colin Johnson, retired metropolitan of Ontario and archbishop of Toronto and Moosonee. On October 26, 2019, Todd Townshend was elected the next bishop of Huron. [6] He assumed his role as the 14th bishop of Huron when consecrated 25 January 2020.
Mariann Edgar was born in 1959 in Summit, New Jersey, [1] to a Swedish-American mother, Ann Björkman, and an American father, William Edgar. [2] [3] She grew up in the Flanders section of Mount Olive Township, New Jersey, and lived with her father for a time in Colorado, following her parents' divorce, before returning to New Jersey and graduating from West Morris Mount Olive High School.

David Williams was the Anglican Bishop of Huron and later Metropolitan of Ontario [1] in the 20th century. Born in 1853 and educated at St David’s College, Lampeter, he was ordained in 1885. [2] His first post was a Curate at Blaenau Ffestiniog. In 1887 he became a professor at Huron Theological College.
George Nasmith Luxton (August 13, 1901 – October 2, 1970) was the Anglican bishop of Huron in Canada in the mid-20th century. [1] Educated at the University of Toronto, he was ordained in 1925. [2] He was a curate at Christ's Church Cathedral, Hamilton then rector at Christ Church, Calgary.
