Capital Region International Airport (IATA: LAN, ICAO: KLAN, FAA LID: LAN), formerly Lansing Capital City Airport, is a public, Class C airport located 3 miles (5 km) northwest of downtown Lansing in a portion of DeWitt Township, Michigan that has been annexed to the City of Lansing via Public Act 425.
A 48,000 square feet (4,459 m 2) air cargo terminal under construction at the airport, October 2012 completion. [2] Capital Region International Airport received U.S. Port of Entry status in January 2008. The name Port Lansing reflects this designation. By June a U.S. Customs Inspection Station was established at the airport.
