Written by Carey, Jermaine Dupri, Fatman Scoop, Manuel Seal, and Johntá Austin, and produced by Carey and Dupri, the song borrows the hook "It's Like That Y'all" from the Run–D.M.C. tracks "Hollis Crew" and "Here We Go (Live)".
