McCoy House is a historic home located at Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, across from the Mifflin County Courthouse. It was built between 1836 and 1843, and is a 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, brick and frame dwelling in the Federal style. It has a gable roof and a double chimney linked at the base. Frank Ross McCoy was born in the house in 1874. [2]
Lewistown is a borough in and the county seat of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, United States. [3] It is the principal city of the Lewistown, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Mifflin County. [4] It lies along the Juniata River, 61 miles (98 km) northwest of Harrisburg.
The front of the eight blocks of row homes face the centralized green space known as Terrace Boulevard. One additional block of homes is situated behind the first block of Terrace Blvd., fronting Hudson Avenue. Those homes face north. Two other blocks arranged linearly are situated behind the south side of the first two blocks of Terrace Blvd.
Juniata County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.As of the 2020 census, the population was 23,509. [1] Its county seat is Mifflintown. [2] The county was created on March 2, 1831, from part of Mifflin County and named for the Juniata River.

[20] As of the 2010 United States Census [ 21 ] the micropolitan area ranked 10th most populous in the State of Pennsylvania and the 237th most populous in the United States with a population of 46,682.
As of the census [5] of 2000, there were 7,256 people, 2,946 households, and 2,106 families residing in the township. The population density was 233.3 inhabitants per square mile (90.1/km 2).
