Edgewater is a borough located along the Hudson River in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 14,336, [11] [12] an increase of 2,823 (+24.5%) from the 2010 census count of 11,513, [21] [22] which in turn reflected an increase of 3,836 (+50.0%) from the 7,677 counted in the 2000 census [23]
Edgewater Borough Hall is located in Edgewater, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 16, 2008. The building was constructed in 1904.

The building is one of New Jersey's 36 Carnegie libraries, constructed with a grant of $15,000 made March 16, 1915 by the Carnegie Corporation and opened in 1916. [3] [4] Engraved about its entrance is Edgewater Free Library. In 2009, the library was listed on the state and national registers of historic places. [1]
The 1.6-acre cemetery has its entrance on River Road near the Hudson River and the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway.It is nestled between private residences and buildings that were once part of the Alcoa Edgewater Works, an Alcoa aluminum processing plant, [2] [3] at the foot of the Hudson Palisades.
