Yeh, dont think you wanna do that one by hand I used the online balancer, and got this as an answer: 10 [Cr(N 2 H 4 CO) 6] 4 [Cr(CN) 6] 3 + 1176 KMnO 4 + 1399 H 2 SO 4 = 35 K 2 Cr 2 O 7 + 1176 MnSO 4 + 420 CO 2 + 660 KNO 3 + 223 K 2 SO 4 + 1879 H 2 O

equation balancer Post by botese » Tue Oct 12, 2010 11:19 am hi, i'm a biologist, so please be gentle. i'm trying to find the balanced equations for the microbial reduction of Fe 2 + using glycerol (C 3 H 8 O 3 ) as electron donor.
You have to pick the oxidation and Reduction Compounds on both side of the equation. According it is alkaline ( NaOH) you add OH- on edukt side and get water on product side Balance and add electrons for the balanced charge, Then for both equation you get the electrons equal . Then Addition of both equation, electrons and some water will be ...
