    C. B. Fry is in the list of "polymaths" rather than "polymath sportsmen" because the Steere quotation makes it clear that this source considers him to be a true polymath, with accomplishments outside of sports. As for Fry sticking out like a sore thumb in the current list of polymaths, I agree, but the list is far from complete.
