Shivajinagar is an underground metro station on the North-South corridor of the Purple Line of Pune Metro in Pune, India.The station was opened on 1 August 2023 as an extension of Pune Metro Phase I. [1] Since then, this line was operational between PCMC and Civil Court.
The line had previously been serviced by regular trains. The EMU service reduced end-to-end travel time on the line from 2.5 hours to 1.5 hours.
