How often does the child support come in? Like daily, weekly, once per life stage, or just a single lump sum when the babies become toddlers? I have a sim who lives in a mansion where the bills are about 45K a week, and she's a single mom with triplet toddlers fathered by Bjorn Bjergsen, and she's currently preggo with twins fathered by Johnny ...

Also, if anyone is reading this, if there is any pre-paid child support, the State of TX will automatically move the child support end date forward. If pre-paid child support still exists at that point, the state will send you a check. I got a check for $1,200 from the TX AG office and they are going after my ex-wife to recoup that $1,200.

Unfortunately, quite awhile. The best thing to do is to call the child support enforcement office in your state (I'm assuming that is who served him) and ask them for updates. When they see that it's been more than 30 days, they should refer it to a case worker who will then take more steps to go after him.

If he thinks it isn't, he needs to speak to his lawyer. I wouldn't say $322/month is terribly low, especially for someone who only makes $1,400/month. The guidelines I've seen would put his current monthly amount at the higher end. Where I live, he would need to be making about $45,000/year to have to pay ~$300/month. 4.

Bi-MONTHLY would be 500 twice a month = 12000 a year. Bi WEEKLY he’s been paying you 13000 a year. (500x26). So if he’s been doing this 6-7 years he just realized he’s overpaid you 6-7 grand. If he owes 1000 per month then the biweekly payments would be 461. Over seven years he has overpaid child support by 7,000.

The hardest part about all this is child support is intended for the children, so the court's usually see these types of motions as stingy fathers. Imagine a scenario where it's innocent until proven guilty, and you're the person trying to prove they are guilty (don't need that much money).

Current CS System rewards parent that makes less vs parents that make more. It is also inherently bias toward one parent for better or for worst. Moeny or the potential of getting money for one parent from another parent is modern day robin hood. Like taxes, it needs to abolished.
