The Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) is a programmatic accreditor of counseling education programs at colleges and universities in the United States. It is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Professionally accredited programs include: The PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision; MS in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling; MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; MS in School Counseling; and MS in Addiction Counseling programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
It features low residency, master's, and doctoral degrees and professional certification programs. The university is accredited by the WASC Senior Colleges and University Commission. [3] [4] The university is classified an exclusively graduate institution with programs that are "Research Doctoral: Humanities/social sciences-dominant". [5]
The graduate level counseling program is accredited by The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). [26] Baccalaureate and graduate level nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. [27]
